Biografie:
Kirstie Alley s-a nascut pe 12 ianuarie 1951 in statul american Kansas, fiind a doua din cei trei copii ai familiei. S-a facut cunoscuta prin rolul Lt. Saavik in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982). Apoi a inlocuit-o pe Shelly Long in binecunoscutul serial Cheers. Pentru rolul din acest serial a primit un premiu Emmy si un Glob de Aur.
Un alt sitcom care i-a adus succesul a fost Veronica's Closet, difuzat la NBC.
Cel mai iubit rol al lui Kirstie pare sa fi fost cel din Look Who's Talking (1989), urmat de Look Who's Talking Too (1990) si Look Who's Talking Now (1993). Printre comediile in care a jucat se numara si Summer School (1987), Madhouse, si Sibling Rivalry (1990).
