Biografie:
Unul dintre cei mai distinsi actori ai anilor '90, Steve Buscemi este un talent fara rival in a combina personaje vrednice de dispret cu farmecul sau personal.
Desi activ in cinema inca de la mijlocul anilor '80, devine faimos o data cu aparitia sa in filmul lui Quentin Tarantino, cu rolul lui Mr. Pink, din Reservoir Dogs (1992), actorul devenind cunoscut publicului larg. A aparut frecvent in multe alte filme ale lui Tarantino, precum si in filme ale fratilor Coen, in care calitatile sale, s-au amestecat perfect in peisaj.
In 1996, Buscemi debuteaza ca scenarist si regizor cu Trees Lounge, o comedie bine primita in care a jucat in rolul unui mecanic auto sovaitor, traindu-si viata in Long Island. Urmare a debutului sau in regie, continua in 2000 cu Animal Factory, o drama despre puscarie, avandu-l pe Edward Furlong in rolul unui supus prizonier, ce-si gaseste protectia in fata colegilor sai prizonieri in persoana unui vechi condamnat (Willem Dafoe).
